I have never liked to exercise just for the sake of keeping fit – definitely a reluctant gym-goer apart from enjoying the curly fries and coffee on the menu. From a young age I loved dancing and team sports because it gave me focus, grace, co-ordination, strength, flexibility, and stamina. Shaolin Kung Fu is the same. I am encouraged to push my beliefs of what I think I can do and get a complete sense of wellbeing with the meditation and Qigong. The training is tough but the instructors and the students make it fun as well – we’re like a family.
