The Year of the Pig is the 12th zodiac animal. According to one myth from the Jade Emperor, the order of the animals would be decided upon the order in which they arrived at his party, the pig arrived last because he overslept making him the 12th animal. The year of the pig also carries importance for those born in the year of the pig, including that they will behold beautiful personalities and good fortunes for life. There is also a number of lucky colours associated with the Year of the Pig these being yellow, grey, brown and golden.
